    Utd Vs Bohs

So can we get anything out of this game??Do we go 4-5-1 like we did against Derry in the cup semi and try play on the break?Does Jeff play himself as full back again? That last qs is the one that has me worried, bohs will tear us to shreads down the wings i think. We do need points however and if we play with the same heart and formation as against Derry in the semi final then we will probably get a draw.
WE HAVE TO START SHOOTING THOUGH!!
What would yer starting 11 be?
    My prediction 1-1.

It will be tough to get anything as Bohs are flying

If I was offered a point from this game right now I would take it.

Hopefully with a great utd porformance and a bit of luck we can sneak a win

Lets face it if we do get anything it would be a massive bonus so with that said I will say Bohs will have far too much for us and run out 2-0 winners .

    Earlier.

Earlier in the season Pats came to Terryland while in great form and top of the table and were very lucky to get a draw tht night.Tht was probably one of the best matches ive ever seen in Terryland. So i think the lads will raise their game again and play well, but once again get screwed by a ref or to a lucky goal late on for bohs.
2 things to do tomorrow night:
    SHOOT
DONT concede in the first 10 minutes.

This might just be crazy enough to work.....
No, in all seriousness, I thought that they were a little bit reluctant to pull the trigger in a few games this season... Murphy can score from distance just hope they work the ball to in in central positions.
As for keeping it tight early... our failure to do so all season is what leaves us where we are at the moment...
I'm hoping for a 0-0 or 1-1 and we need to go 4-5-1 I think but who knows anything could happen in this game....
    innit though??

A repeat of the Pats performance would be great and if we got that we might get something out of the game

losing wasnt enough - we had to be completely impotent against 9 men for 20 mins also

dispondent - very few positives from last night

Bohs were a different class. Closed the game out to perfection with 9 MEN. They worked tirelessly together, fought for every ball and showed determination, pride, skill, guts and eventually glory.

    We were the opposite

Anybody know why we are so soft all over the field. When is the last time anyone saw a good fair hard tackle done by a gufc player. We need to send a statement of intent early in games to let team know that if they want 3 point from us they are going to have to battle for them.

Just look at all the early goals we concede why do we just stand off the players and let them run through us without putting in a tackle?

Did you hear the Bohs chant about Cousins? Somthing like "....my name is Tony Cousins and I drive a taxi...".

The chant eased the pain of the defeat.

We were totally and utterly outclassed. No ideas or vision and how Murphs stayed on is beyond me he was as bad as he was last year and doesnt add a jot to our game. Jason Molloy to start next week and we badly need players like lester giving 110% in midfield .We have to play direct attacking football way too many touches taken last night.

Best that can be said of last night is that at least Cobh got an injury time equaliser against Harps.

Early goal conceded again, under pressure before the game had even settled down.... no real goal threat....
Bohs were different class and you always thought they had another gear to go to if we scored. I'm not taking anything away from them, but I thought Bohs were quite physical and roughed up our midfield and took over the game... maybe there's a lesson there for our guys....
    innit though??

    Well Salvador.

Well Salvador i did say we needed to do 2 things in this game if we were to have a chance and you replied that its crazy enough to work.Well as it turned out we couldnt do either of those things, shoot and not concede early.
As for the attendance of 1400 approx, where did they(The Star) get that out of??I wouldnt have said there was 1,000 at it

Great bunch of lads that came down to Fibbers and met a few of them after as well.
