The FAI CEO Fran Rooney has kindly offered two match tickets to this game from his own personal allocation....
....The winners will be drawn from those eircom League fans who attended Lansdowne Road for the last five games in total, Georgia, Albania, Australia, Russia and Turkey.
Each group of supporters has been asked to compile a list of those who attended all of the five games and an open public draw will be held...

We're not arrogant, we're just better.
Why couldn't Rooney have given a few seats on his corporate jet. Please note: These are only match tickets and the winners will be responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Should be worth a few quid on the open market though.
And here is his impressively fast reply!Originally posted by Schumi

Hi
As most of you are aware the Switzerland V Rep of Ireland game in Basle is sold out and many fans of were disappointed not to receive one in the recent allocation by the FAI.
The FAI CEO Fran Rooney has offered two match tickets to this game from his own personal allocation as an expression of his thanks to all the eircom League fans who have responded to the recent initiative to bring noise and colour back to Lansdowne Road.
There were five games involved in total, Georgia, Albania, Australia, Russia and Turkey and what I propose to do is to hold a draw from amongst only those who attended all five games as part of the eircom League fans group on the North Terrace.
I would therefore ask you to compile a list of your groups supporters who attended all of the five games and forward them to me so we can hold an open public draw to find who the lucky winners of the tickets are.
The time and venue for the draw will be announced soon but in the interests of fairness and transparency will be held in public..
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
ffs...what a pile of dung! god bless the man. Bet he was stuck with two tickets cos someone cancelled...
ah come on!
Let's at least give credit where it's due, it might only be two tickets, but it's two tickets more thn we would have gotten last year. I don't think it's that much of a PR exercise on Rooney's part either, because this is the only place I've seen it mentioned. I'm willing to say well done Fran, it's a nice gesture.
