Would be easier to enjoy a break if you'd something lined up I'll bet! Not a nice situation to be in, hope it works out for you.

Great news! Best of luck with it.

Happy New Year all!
The Other Sport section is pretty dead so I’m posting this here…
Keep an eye on Alex Dunne. He just won the F2 (Formula One’s feeder series) feature race at Imola. His second win of the season and he’s top of the standings.

Fifty years ago today... Jaws was released.
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

I don't know who has the 'Annie Hall' quote in their signature, I've tried searching but I'm useless at it.
I finally realised where it came from watching a particular show. It was like a lightning bolt hit me.
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
And managed to land P4 in the first practice session in Lando Norris car for McLaren. That's quite a way to introduce yourself.
So he's starting to surface a bit, Saturday Sports on RTÉ Radio One today had him on just after 3pm as it went out live if anyone wants to listen back. Said some silly things, like the car doesn't matter, when it absolute does. He also refused or tried to refuse to address the Monaco pile up where the abuse on Socials toward him after caused him some distress. I think he was trying to say he'd put it behind him, psychologically, but he needed to field the question better.
Said his dad was a huge part of his set up but has stepped back a little & then said his dad is still responsible for attracting the sponsorship he requires.
So I'd say a little bit of press training wouldn't go amiss as he's about to be interviewed plenty more if he keeps lapping the way he does.
He definitely has that racing driver who knows he's good, confidence. No shortage of that and very aware he'll need it too. Good luck to him, interesting emerging Irish sport story for sure
