Look, if people stopped posting on a forum every time I was wrong about something, there wouldn't be much of foot.ie left.

His sacking is bloody ridiculous, and clearly an inside-job.

Inside job? Looks like it. Bloody ridiculous? I dont think so. In fairness, comments like that and actions like the one to Charlotte Jackman would get any person in trouble in any company worth its salt.

News just in - SAXA have moved quickly to scotch any suggestion of sexism within their company.

I heard that was a bad idea. At least the Bohs fans seem to think it's practically a hanging offence.

You know your a nordie when your shocked that the place you previously used to get fuel is legal. I shouldn't name it but there's a "petrol station" in Donegal (a farm shed up a country lane with a few pumps inside it)that somehow was roughly 20c cheaper than the main forecourts on the main road near it. Considering the bulk of the price per litre is tax, how can they undersell by so much?!

It's the big county to the west of Derry that doesn't have a Queen.

in 7 hours i head out of town for a compulsory Catholic marriage preparation retreat. It starts at 7.00pm tonight and doesnt finish until 3.30pm on Sunday. We get to sleep in individual dorms, lots of mass and a few auld prays and we get to talk about our sex lives with priests.

I had to go to 2x 4 hour things in a primary schoolroom in Midleton, and I thought I had it bad.

It's the christenings I dread. I absolutely object to it, but if you want a good school in this country, within a reasonable distance...
