Right, so a few days ago I dug out Football Manager 2009. Eight odd hours later and I've just completed my first season as City manager, winning the League Cup, the Setanta Cup, the league title, and the FAI Cup. It's the most successful season I've ever had.

And there's noone else around to share it with. Or to care.

I might go and wake my girlfriend.

Just a little bit of recognition, that's all I want. No one will ever understand just what an amazing 8 hours I've had. It's going on my CV.

I am having a bit of a "There it is Homer, the cleverest thing you'll ever say and no-one was around to hear it" moment.

dont worry MagicMe, perfectly acceptable (and probably way more apt).

    http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...term=Magnimous

It means big or fierce, it also is an accomplishment in a hearty manner, and over the top.
1.)"Wasn't that a redundant magnimous score??"
2.)"Last night was so crazy it was Magnimous, MagicMe was drunk on wine"
    3.)That man is so magnimous, he's like a giant...run.

What's with all the ugly birds on Foleys take me out? I guess I shouldn't be surprised giving the fact that most Irish birds are fat and ugly.

I am inclined to think that a sizable percentage of us on here have met either one or the other of you, if not both: MM speaks for all of us who have.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

I wonder if they'll make a sequel to the Rogue Trader movie?

Sean Connery could play Sean Connor.

Cool link. The Faroes one isn't the national ground though; it's in Eidi. And I don't think there's a boat by the ground for games, though there is a lifebelt at the ground. Always makes you wonder about the accuracy of the rest of the article when the only bit I know about is wrong.

The plainness of them is unfortunate. Plainness - plus the picky and bitchy attitude - that's just irritating!!!

They should just be done with it and feed the rejected clowns to the lions at the end.

yeah, i like the Norwegian one most myself. Apparently it is no longer in use though and the team moved to a two up, two down bog standard stadium. Also, like the design of the South African one.... Irrespective, there are some cool photos!
