    But he did suffer an almost Faustian decent into madness, poor chap, so bit of karma there. And he was stitched up the second time!

    Twitter could have been made for match updates.
    Handy for acts announcing albums/tour dates and the like as well.
    For everything else it should be bludgeoned repeatedly. Like so much of the interweb it's entirely based on people's deluded belief that the whole world is simply dying to know what they think about everything.

    Twitter was very useful for things like breaking news. Also found it very handy for Tour De France live feeds. But for everything else, totally agree. And a lot of spammers on it too.

    my father retires today after 38 years service in the gardai, feel really sorry for him, he will miss it, id imagine it will be a very hard transition for him

    Why is my Halifax account so slow to update the balance? If I take out 20e on Monday, that doesn't register on the account until 2 or 3 days later. My old BOI account always registered transactions that took place on a weekday on that day.
    It's annoying, coz you think you have more money available than you actually do.

    Yeah, I find that too. You have to calculate how much you've taken out since the last updated withdrawal.

    I know the ads been around for a while, but any time that glade touch ad comes on I really want to punch that kid in the face and the person who cast him, its so annoying and is a weird and stupid ad anyways.
