Girlfriend bought me a designer watch for the birthday, dead chuffed with it.![]()
Hard to say really. Mrs A has the odd look around the forums and used to have her own login, so I guess technically that would count as a foot.ie marriage.
On the other hand since I met her through people I got to know through Johnny Ward's old message board (JC_GUFC being one of them) maybe it counts for that site.

I'm a very very poor poker player!
Pun intended.

That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.
Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

In Australia, with a broken heart.. and if I do have to go back to Ireland (which I'm not sure could still be called home).. Bray will probably be in the first division.. ehm, lol?
Yes yes, I know: chin up, plenty more fish in the sea, it happens to everyone, you'll find someone else, it just wasn't meant to be, it's not as bad as it seems, you'll get over it and every other cliche in the book. I particularly liked the guy in the pub last week who got talking to me (couldn't sleep so I went to the pub for some nice diet cokes).. married for 27 years, has kids. He's seen it all before, had his heart broken many times, one excruciating time in particular. After spending an hour putting a positive spin on life, he gets up to leave. "Three weeks ago, I nearly killed myself" he says to me. "Well, it's a good thing you didn't", I reply.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that Stevo. It is true though that you do get through these things, eventually. Be wherever your friends are, the people who can help pull you through this.
Give yourself a break though and dont expect to feel better straight away, its not like you can just "pull yourself together" like some people will tell you. It takes time. Has taken me almost 3 years to get fully over the last person who broke my heart. Saw him recently and it was the first time since I first met him that my heart didnt race and he was nothing more than someone I knew.
I never thought I would see that day and despite throwing myself into other relationships I thought I would never stop loving him. But I have.
Be good to yourself. xxx
On a lighter note...
Does it p!ss anybody else off the way when your selecting your return flight on Ryanair.com that the calender doesn't automatically go to the month for which the outbound flight was selected? They're not the only ones either and although this hasn't turned my life upside down I just think it's pretty stupid.
It damn near requires a death in the family or an outstanding arrest warrant for me to consider using Ryanair.com, but yes, that is a common enough bug in online flight booking sites, and really seems like one of those things which would have cropped up in testing by anyone other than a monkey with a cert in computer programification.
