Something weird happened me last night (but maybe not as weird as the above posts). I was asleep earlish coz I was tired and was dreaming that I was at a wedding in Rome (Galway United Manager Ian Foster was there but didnt recognise anyone else at all) when my phone rang and woke me.

It was 12.15 and I looked at it before answering to see who would be ringing me at that hour of the night. It was a foreign number and just as I was about to answer it stopped ringing. I thought they might leave a voice mail so I left it for a few minutes. Then I tried to ring it back and got through to what I assume was an answering machine - speaking Italian.

Weird! I dont know anyone in Italy and it was my private number so couldnt have been some chancer found my number on the Mons website and decided to ring.

    Am very perplexed.

Perhaps it's the latest hotshot Italian striker looking to kick-start his career in Monaghan?

No just googled it and it turns out it is some sorta scam where they take the money from your mobile phone. So if anyone gets a call from 00393193260036 dont answer it and dont ring them back. If you do ring regtel on 1850741741.

    The theory test is it

Nah fair play, past mine at the second time of asking when I could drive properly. Failed it narrowly when I couldn't really drive properly at all. Most people that fail usually say they were screwed but I don't really buy into that, you have to give them a reason to fail you.

Are guys either big into cars or big into sport but never both. I know a good few guys that are big into cars but they never seem interested in sport even in a general sense?

Hmm.. the only person I know who's mad about cars has no interest in any sport other than motor racing.

You only think that because you're a woman and therefore mental.

Ha ha. There was a very good reason for that! I needed it for staying in my mates the next night!

Rather be a mental woman than a madman.

Doubt it unfortunately, bitch of an injury. Hopefully it isn't a bad pull or you'll miss a good few games.

Nope I think a hamstring is at least 3 full weeks rest and that depends what category strain / tear it is
