Slightly better news, my boss is having a word with the area manager about getting her to have a re-think. The guys I work with are dead on, they don't actually want me to leave which makes a change, they're just following orders. Here's hoping....

Working on Christmas eve is a bit crap. And being on call for Christmas day is also crap especially when your broadband is not working meaning you'll have to come to the office if anything does go wrong.

Nothing puts a dampner on the Christmas mood like waking up on St Stephens morning and realising that you'd not locked the car properly and some c u next tuesday helped themselves to a rather expensive camera on Christmas night!!!! Even lifted an Athlone Town rain jacket!!!!
