Saw George O'Callaghan in Liverpool today and the King of Benin at Liverpool airport yesterday.

Our poor ould pet dog has reached the end of the line.

He's deteriorated to the extent that its cruel to prolong it.

Booked into the vets tomorrow to have him put to sleep and head for the great kennel in the sky.

Thanks Stevo, Ringo had a great life and he's been loved and well looked after.

My missus was given the dog as a birthday present 16 years ago - so she's been a long time companion.

We bought our first house in 2001 and moved in 2006 and Ringo has been with us all the way.

Our 2 year old son has forged a bond with him also - so I'll have to explain that Ringo has had to go home to his Mammy's house or something along those lines. I'm not too keen on introducing the concept of death to him quite yet.

    I made soup tonight.

The more surprising thing is that it was edible.
