Was flicking through MTV there and caught a little of Coldplay in concert and thought there was a disporportionally large number of Japanese people at the gig.....then I "I"d it and turns out it was recorded in Tokyo.

And then you grew up? Got a brain? Got a decent taste in music? Realised they are possibly the most over rated band ever?

Or maybe too many people started liking them and he disowned them?

Its Hang Fung and that was my childhood home when we moved back from Canada! My dad owned a chipper there and we lived upstairs while the people who were renting our house finished building their house.

I love their half & half* with curry and onions. €4 and the best feed in town.

    * I think Monaghan may be the only place in the world where a 2-in-1 is called a half & half.

First time I ever heard it called a 2-in-1 was on a night out in Monaghan with some of our players and Keith Foy ordered it and we looked at him like he was nuts until he pointed to chips/rice/curry on the menu (which is technically a 3-in-1 I suppose!)

I assumed you were drunk initially, but your words at least made sense.

I'm disturbed by the fact that dfx- thanked the original post though. What does he know????

That must have been hard on you. One particularly well known Longford based foot.ie member has a long standing habit of calling everybody by their log on name so he didn't do you any favours either a few years ago.

I'd love to see the address book of his phone! Actually if somebody who didn't know anything about LOI or foot.ie saw it they'd be wondering what the **** was wrong with him.

Lots of us on foot.ie wonder the same.

Assuming Longfordian is on about the same person, try working with him. 'Well sligoman' was a very unusual greeting in front of people at work
