Am too sad for sleep.
wooooooooahhhhaaww (yes, that's the best I can come up with for what's on my mind at the moment... and no, I am not stoned!)
Am too sad for sleep.
What a flirt....
It's like those missed connections things in the paper "You were the guy in a Shels jacket on Shop Street, I was the guy carring the bottle of whiskey puking my ring up on the side of the street. I felt we had a moment. Call me."
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Right thats it i'm not wearing that jacket around Galway again

Forgot to say that was dead proud of my dad on Sunday (and always!) for winning an becoming All Ireland Champion in the half marathon at over 60 age group in Donegal. My cousin Donna came 3rd in the over 40's womens race. Busting with pride for them.
Feel like the s word. My son rang me with his Junior Cert results and I think I sounded a little disappointed and I think he may have picked up on it. I am happy with what he got but I know if he had put any effort in he could have done much better. One good thing is that I dont have to take him to see Manure play as that was the "prize" if he got 7 or more B's & up. He got 6 B's, 4 C's and a D. He was expecting at least 3 A's.
He's done well there Magicme and if he's a little disappointed it might just give him a kick to go and study harder for his leaving cert. He's done well enough that he should get whatever subjects he wants at leaving cert level which is the important thing.
I think the opposite happened to me, I got 4 A's in my Junior and just became totally complacent about exams, I hardly studied at all for my leaving and despite doing relatively well I probably should have done a whole lot better.

I was the same passing, so had been kinda hoping he would be a little disappointed, (mean mammy that I am!) but I didnt want him thinking I was disappointed. He is my baby and I am so proud of every single thing he does (except bullying his brother) and I want to be thrilled with his results but I know he could have done better.
I told him I was so proud but also said that now he know's A's aren't just given out, they have to be worked for and maybe he can do that for Leaving. He is an ambitious little dude and he is only 14 so hopefully he has learned things more useful than how to make a coffee table from today.
Out in Galway tonight, can't wait!
I've just discovered that its not that expensive to use the internet on my mobile and that I can get foot.ie on it. As I'm doing right now.
is the rubbish forum anyone elses favourite forum??
On a related note, it's amazing how few threads on the main forum don't have a little garbage can icon next to them.
