    Messengering on dial-up

Just a quick question someone may be able to help me with.

How well, if at all, do Windows Live messenger or the MSN instant messenger run on a dial-up connection? Was a bit surprised to find that the dial-ups are still very much about, and not out in the boonies either!
It would have to be a pretty solid connection, no appreciable delays or freezes like.
    Thanks for any help rendered.

Cheers Rovers1, so they can just download the installer as normal and it'll run at a basic level? That'd be good enough, that's all that's required. Thanks!

You should have no problems at all with it man. Shouldn't make any real difference to performance.
