Hmmm... Truculent manner, seeing conflict where there's none... Is tricky colour Roy Keane in disguise then?

If you can't see the conflict you must be thicker than Mick.
I was probably a slightly better player than Roy in my time.

From what I read in the Turbine, it's more likely to be an anti-McCarthy thing..... From the piece I read, it seems that it was Kelly that stirred up such an atmosphere that left no room for Keano to return to the dressing room if things could've been sorted with the Muppet...

Fair enough if that's what Kelly feels is right, but surely a straight decision when Kerr took over would've been better rather than create the impression (which I don't necessarily believe) that he wouldn't work with Kerr (considering his close relationship with McCarthy)...

Proof positive that this clown talks nothing but rubbish.

You should probably take a few deep breaths and count to ten before answering this one buddy because I couldn't be bothered having a net cat-fight with some newbie blow-in.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

And in some more friendly advice, you don't have to cut and paste my initial post to put it in your response. Just hit the 'quote' option and your reply will open up with my post alreadly attached.

Now, at face value, there is a lot of explaining away to be done. 6 games? I don't know the injury that prevents you from playing 6 games but let's you play the Worthington Cup. I don't know the injury that prevents you travelling to a World Cup qualifier (ala Beckham who has travelled to games in which he didn't participate) but permits you to train at the time of the game and subsequently play in a European Champions League game. I think Liam Mackay summed it up neatly in the Examiner that the only medical condition Roy Keane seems to suffer from is an allergy to playing in green jerseys rather than red.
Dragged this up..... Just to point out that Keano is being rested for his 2nd Champions League game in a row.....

I'm a little bit miffed over this 'faking an injury' quote from a few people. Roy Keane was injured/carrying an injury , going into the initial match against Iran . And he didn't exactly set the world alight with his performance in that match either . Therefore it was quite reasonable to expect him not to travel for the return leg .
Whoever made the analogy between Keane and Alan Shearer should be commended (or perhaps knighted) as this is the most sensible argument that has been put forward so far
