I would say we are in for a rip roaring game where both defences will go AWOL so I will go for 3-2 to United and even 4-3 would not shock me either .
Galway United V Athlone Town in FAI Cup is a potential banana skin. Da Town are full of ex United players but none more explosive than Eric Lavine who has been going through a dry spell .....for the last few years. His high profile departure from GUFC resulted in him washing his laundry in public when he rang a radio station to state his case against then manager Stephen Lally. He also had a similar public falling out with Don O'Riordan a few years previous when he left GUFC the first time.
Lavine will be buzzing tomorrow and will be eager to get on the scoresheet. He will have to be tightly marked. Most of the current United squad have probably never even heard of him before
Nobody knows us, we don't care

Hopefully be a good game ... and away win
Up until the Sunderland game we were playing very well, and between that
scoreline and the disaster of a performance against Mons, the lads will
definately be out to make amends.
From chatting to people around Town there seems to be a decent number travelling. 2 buses that I know of and a good few will be driving down the road.

I'm driving over.
Just started a new job this week so would be a bit rude to look to get out early to catch the bus![]()
