    eL Security Meeting Outcome

Apparently the eL security committee met yesterday to discuss the recent Rovers v Bohs post match fiasco.

Does anyone have any information on the outcome or are they (the committee) just going to hide behind the doors of Merrion Sq?

    Rovers issue statement

At its meeting yesterday, (September 10th) the eircom League Security Committee further reviewed the incidents which occurred at the Shamrock Rovers v Bohemians game in Richmond Park on Monday, September 1st.

As a result, it was decided that the Security Committee will continue to categorise all eircom League fixtures in terms of any security and safety risks associated with them and will implement appropriate measures as deemed necessary.

    Angry

So basically, the FAI are taking no action against Rovers.
    What a surprise.
We're left relying upon Rovers to sort themselves out. I will be surprised if we see any major changes.

the wording of the el security statement is a brilliant example of saying absolutely nothing: " we will continue to do what we were already doing, aren't we great? whats the problem?"

Classic, our politicians should hire these clowns to write their speeches for them (if they havent already)

Ask them what the story is !!

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
