    Fundraiser in Adelaide Casino

    Came across this.

Sligo Rovers Fundraiser 100 FO, Adelaide Casino Sligo

€100+30 Freezeout in the Adelaide Casino Sligo

Sunday the 10th, Tournament Starts at 4pm Sharp, Reg open from 2:30! There is a 10000 Starting Stack with 25 minute Blinds.

There is a €30 Reg fee on this tournament, 100% of the Registration goes to Sligo Rovers, and 100% of the prizepool will be paid out!

It may seem like a large Reg but its for a good cause, the tournament will be limited to 100 players and we fully expect it to sell out.
For any information you can contact the club on 0719150515 Thur-Mon(8pm Onwards) or on this thread.

i went to this, there was 46 people there.....and as far as i could see, there was only 1 representative from SRFC. i didnt see 1 player. and its not as if they dont gamble or play poker.

If there not going to support there own club at these fundraisers, then goodluck to them.

Fair play to the casino for running it.they made a big effort, but sadly were let down by the size of the crowd. there should have been at least 100 people at it.

Ideally they'd have been there yeah but realistically their only commitment is to turn up for training and matches. The rest of the time is their own.

well if your not gonna set an example to the general public and support your own organization,in these fundraisers that people are putting an effort into organizing, then it doesnt say much SRFC.

Au contraire, Rodney, it says it all about SRFC.
