Rest assured they probably weren't all that enamored with your contancerous festival attitude either

You speak for all of them then do ya? I got on grand at it ,chatted away to loads of people and met loads a people I knew. I didnt give myself an award for going to a festival that was not oxygen, but hey thats me .

btw I wasnt criticising pork pie hats. Just said there were lots of them about. It was Magicme who criticised people who tried to hard.

In fairness there should be an award for not going to Oxygen, it should be called the continuation of life award (I believe I've made my feelings on a mass extermination at Oxygen known here before so I hope you are all familiar with it )

yep! thats the attitude am talking about....couldnt tell the differance between the two apart form the line up...

In fairness I went to oxygen and saw the Strokes, The Arctic Mondays, the Who and James Brown. Give me that over Duffy and whatever wedding band proceeded her any day.

Yeah there's not much difference these days, used to be about 3 years ago but Oxygen have copied the boutique aspect of EP and EP have copied the 'let's increase the festival to a ridiculous side and let scumbags in' philosophy of Oxygen. Shame but what can you do, there's money to be had after all

I also brought loads of booze with me so only bought maybe 3 drinks the whole weekend. Seemed more sensible way of doing things rather than complaining about prices afterwards.
Just off a plane from the Queens Engerland, so no chance of organising anything other than a tent and a sleeping bag thus the reliance on the on-site vendors, I did the same last year so I knew what to expect but I just think I noticed it more this year.
That said I really enjoyed the weekend, there'll always be things to improve on but the music was generally top notch and when the bill was announced I was genuinely gutted, i thought there were only a couple of people worth seeing and the headliners weren't great in the end I thought it was musically at least head and shoulders above last year.
