Albania 3 - 1 Georgia
(Hasi, Tare, Bushi) - (Arveladze)

Plants Russia firmly back in contention and puts Georgia out of the running so they'll only be playing for pride against Russia last day. Table looks like this....

so here are the possibilities:

if we win in switzerland:
we win the group if Russia lose/draw against Georgia
we go into the playoffs if Russia win against Georgia

if we draw in switzerland
we go into playoffs only if Russia lose

if we lose in Switzerland
we get nothing regardless of the Russian result.

effectively, we have to win in Basle. no excuses.

Love these big games. This is what its all about (though I would prefer auto qualification)

Just looking at play off potentials, this isn't totally definite (my opinion)

Defo : Holland, Slovenia, Spain, Wales

Maybe : Bosnia/Romania, Hungary/Poland, Scotland/Iceland
England/Turkey, Croatia/Belgium, Swiss/Ireland/Russia.

Nothing is certain in football and with Wales 1 point behind with a game left they can still win their group.
England v Turkey is going to be a massive game.

They can still win their group. Greece have an easy enough last game but I wouldn't count Spain out of winning the group yet.
