This is great news. Imagine the money we'll make from the United friendly when Seanie Connor takes over at Old Trafford.

    Avvenalaf,

You should set up a Comedy Club and give all proceeds after expenses of course to the Club because you have a mighty sense of humour!!

Another small point for you to ponder on-the Club has taken in 24650 euro so far for the syndicate.Lets take out Red Arrows 6,000 euro plus take out the other syndicates that other supporters have done-lets say 8650,then that leaves 10,000 euro raised by the Committee.
Last point Dermott, there are over 30 people on the various Committees involved in Sligo Rovers-that works out at just over 300 euro per Committee Member-maybe you should also focus some of your attention on them and not just on the ordinary supporter.

I have to say ur on the mark there Sligo1. Me and a friend decided to try and fill a syndicate. We are now into our second syndicate and I can say that at least 80% of the people we have asked are more than willing to give the 50 quid, but have simply not been asked or approched in any way.

It has to be remembered that we only get one oppurtunity at this syndicate, so the people of Sligo should be bombarded with being asked to buy a ticket. Instead the advertising for the syndicate is rubbish and that has to come back to the committee. Can they not get a stand set up on oConnell St. on a Sat for example
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!
