Yea its was a very tight match and well played by both teams. A game of few chances but still some nice ball played at times. We did get tired in extra time after playing the night before aswell but ye new dat and tried to keep the game at a high tempo. Yea both teams had chances to win it in extra time but in the end we were very lucky to come out with the win. But still ye have a good young side and a big panel if ye can keep dat going for next season I know ye will do very well

    Ingle cup final:

    Trinity 3-0 Killmallock

    League:

    Aisling 3-1 Summerville
    Caherdavin 0-1 Prospect

    Fixtures:

    Tuesday:
    Caherdavin v Killmallock

    Thursday:
    Prospect vs Aisling

Summerville vs Cappamore but i'm unsure of the day and Knockainey and Killmallock still to play each other after that. Think that will pretty much be the league over. Depending on how results go three teams are still in the relegation area or can at least all finish level on points and also Killmallock and Prospect are still fighting for the league.

Saw the prospect game against Caherdavin , even though Caherdavin lost they played prospect off the park and should have won by three or four. Killmallock wil have their work cut out on Tuesday cause both teams need the points for different reasons,

From what i heard it finished 3.0 but it could have been a lot more, in saying that they played Monday,Tuesday (with extra time) and Sunday so they must have been Shattered

but kilmallock have a panel of 17 18 players to choose from so i dont think you could blame tiredness and your dead right trinity could have won by 5 or 6.this leauge is very intersting for parties involved

Aisling are playing prospect on thursday and if prospect win it means caherdavin and aisling finish on 16pts. Knockainey are second from bottom on 15pts but have three games to play, i expect them to pick up at least 1 point. If Caherdavin and Aisling finish level it means either a playoff or leaving it as is and not relegating either. Coonagh pulled out at the start of the season so it made the divsion small enough as it is. Basically if aisling get even a point on thursday or knockainey pick up more than one point in their remaining games caherdavin are relegated. With the 3rd best defense in the league i feel relegation would be harsh on such a young committed team who are finding their feet in junior soccer.

Totally agree with you on the ref and Kilmallock deserved to win but play should have been blown up before ye scored the winner, the caherdavin right full was pulled back after he won the ball but what happened after that was a comedy of errors that led to the winner

Killmallock deserved the win but we pushed them as hard as we could. The team worked its ass of but things didn't come together tonight like they did in the last few games. Whichever divsion we are in next season i feel we will give winning it a right go.

ya it was a free out originally but the ref didn't spot it as he was too far away to see it, as usual
