Ya id say they will all be off. Pitches were poor enough as it was.

And its only the 2nd week of September. Wait until the " Winter" months

sounds good, but i think teams should be notified to save them travelling out the country to find no one to ref the games

does that still happen? surely the day is gone where you travel 10 or 20 miles to a match and find out there's no ref???

After these results Prospect seem to be the team to beat, they are the only unbeaten team in this division , even though its early doors yet

Every team will drop points in the course of season, so why do you think i would be happy with Kilmallock/Caherdavin been beaten? If Prospect go unbeaten then they will be worthy champions.

Does anybody know why there is no games in our league this weekend? it will be our third weekend without a game

Ya same as ourselves. We will have gone a month without a game (thats if we have one the following weekend) And to make it worse it will probably be the nicest Weekend this side of the New Year. Next week we will have a match and it will be a strom or something

take the 92 (i think) Junior teams plus 37 youth and minor, that makes around 130 teams , 65 games to be played on a sunday if you want everyone to play..... you see the problem too many teams not enough referees its fact and not much can be done about it this season

agreed that there just isn't enough referees but why do the lower division teams always have to suffer by going weeks and weeks without games. It's very hard to get a run together and to keep players interested in training when they might not have a match for 2 or 3 weeks at a time.

Ya its tough without a match. Interest seems to dindle at training. Saying that we had our biggest number at training last night all year. About 20 on a 5-a-side pitch. Not recommend .

i dont know different organisation, but you see problem either of two things happen. 1. Less Teams in Junior football or 2. More Referees

Which one do you think will happen?

i guess None so see same problem happening year in year out

ya we had a big number down training last night too, about 18/19, not ideal on an astra turf but we have to take training anywhere we can.

Anybody know if there is any other Cup to play in barr the divisonal cup for the teams in the lower divisons??
