Was wondering where he was after being released by Chelsea. Cardiff still have him in their squad list on their official site - http://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/page/...~38190,00.html !!
The football focus piece is available online here - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...us/7821922.stm - but I can't view it, might not be available outside the UK?
U19 internationals Michael Collins and Conor McCormack have joined Serie B side Triestina.

Stephen Hunt picks up Championship Player Of The Month award for December
Reading and Ireland midfielder Stephen Hunt has won the December Powerade Player of the Month Award in the Coca-Cola Championship.
Hunt's performances were at the heart of a fantastic month for Reading, which saw them pick up 17 points from their seven league fixtures.
The Irish international's impressive displays helped the Royals to five straight wins at the beginning of the month, including his eighth goal of the season in the victory against Norwich. Two solid draws against Cardiff and Southampton rounded off an unbeaten December to help Reading close the gap on league leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers as they head into 2009.
Chris Kamara, chairman of the Powerade Player of the Month Awards panel, said:
"Stephen Hunt has been in terrific form for Reading since the start of the season and December was no exception. His driving displays from the heart of midfield were instrumental in his side's fine performances, which saw the Royals remain unbeaten throughout December and notch five consecutive wins in a row that culminated in an outstanding away victory at promotion rivals Birmingham City."

44. David McGoldrick (Southampton)
The 21-year-old striker has nine goals this term for the Saints and is tipped to go marching on to bigger things for his all-round ability. Still not sure about this guy
22. Kieran Westwood (Coventry City)
Signed from Carlisle United last summer for £450,000, the 24-year-old goalkeeper is already said to be worth ten times that amount and his manager, Chris Coleman, rates him as the best ‘keeper outside the Premier League.
But I don't know what the criteria for the list is.(Fabio Da Silva is at no.9 but Rafael Da Silva doesn't make an appearance?)
doyle from Hull ?
Point taken, but you seldom put him in your updates on here, The lad has been let down and treated poorly by the selection panel who pick the Ireland squad.
Not even given a chance at "B" Level or in friendlies!
I find it hard to understand how a player who plays well week in week out, sweeps the board at his clubs Player of the Year Awards.
Wins the North West Player of the Year Award, yet still gets overlooked, whilst players of much lesser ability such as McShane and Bruce, keep getting picked.
This must be about the 10th time I've seen a very similar post to this from you on this forum. We know by now he's the Championship North Player of 2008. We know he won a load of other awards. We know you think he's better than McShane and Bruce. Move on a bit now. By all means keep us updated on his every game. I'm biased towards McGeady but I'll still post here and tell you if he has a poor game.
