Again, he just lacks that acceleration over a few yards that he used to have.

Good pass and move play though- he kept possession really well.

Damien Duff taken off with a knee injury at half time
Liam Lawrence, Stephen Quinn, Stephen Hunt, Jimmy Ryan and Billy Mehmet scored their first of the season
    Alex Bruce was sent off
Adam Rooney made his first start for Inverness Caley Thistle. Can someone confirm for me if he's on loan, or if it's a permanent transfer?

Didn't see the game, will watch the repeat. Apparantly another quiet enough game. Came into it in the 2nd half. Maloney and Naka were superb apparently so McGeady will need to get his form back.

/Just saw Reid's pass for Blackburn's goal. Really good pass.

Keith Treacy played a full game for Blackburn last night in the Carling Cup
Alan Judge came on as a 67 minute substitute in a 4-1 win.

Ince seems to be giving the young lads a chance.

John Joe O'Toole came on as a late sub for Watford on Tuesday night (first appearance of the season) and scored a cracking winning goal in extra time.

Alan Judge came on for his first appearance in the same game
John Rooney came off the bench for his first appearance of the season, after 2 unused substitute appearances

Incidentally, James Wallace's birthday is the 19 December 1991. More than a year AFTER Italia '90.

That hat-trick came at such a good time for him.

Apparently the two Hunts were awesome.

Didn't see the game but from looking at the text ticker it looks like Doyle scored as soon as Hunt replaced Long. Coincidence?
