First time in years that the best two teams in town have got to the final of the touhy. Says it all about playing this trophy out during the week.

boro scored early, fairview came back in a big way and had a few chances, game then became very even until twenty to go, when fairview were pushing for an equaliser and the boro had chances to win the game. very entertaining game that couldve went either way, but fairview got the bit of luck, and good luck to them in the final

I think our time has come this year,not much in the differance between ourselves and pike we havent beaten them since 2003 but the gap is closer,we want this trophy it means alot,lads have put in a big effort and have nothing to fear.

pike are better i think..they will want it as much as ye it will give them a good boost towards the league if they win
