i think it should be run earlier in the season and wrapped up by xmas, its dragging on again, maybe playing it on a saturday night might stoke a bit of interest,in saying that alot of players from a few clubs that i've spoke to don't give a fcuk about it

I can opnly speak for Aisling but we were disappointed at last nights result and by judging by the reaction of the Pike players they were happy to reach the final and why not.

do teams genuinely set ut to win this trophy at the start of the season, or is it mainly about mjc, fai, and league....

never heard a team in my 17 yrs of junior football planning on winning the touhy (or equivilant).....

who won the touhy the last few years....i can't remeber

If you are saying it does not rank high in the list of trophies I am sure you are right but what local cups do compared to the Leage, FAI or MJC. Do you scrap them altogether? I think the lawson is a great cup and with the touhy being played under lights this season it added something extra to the competition.

agree with white stripe.pitch was solid but unreal bumpy.very hard for any of the players from both teams to dribble with the ball hence why it was prob not the most entertaining game in the world.its the worst ive ever seen the surface in jackman anyway.
overall i felt it was a very even game which either side could have won
although there werent many clearcut chances.AA will be disapointed to have conceded so late in the game though as we defended well up until then.in fairness to pike though they took there goal well.great cross from the free from hanrahan which was met by enright in the air to score.
