I tried wrapping up the kittens but the little feckers kept suffocating on me. Still, it kept me fed for a few weeks.

    Mmmmm. kittens...

Lay off the coffee during the day do some exersize in the early parts before 7 and dont eat too much sugar after 6pm. have helped me get my 8 hours.
That's true, it must be the body being full of adrenaline after playing football or something. I play at 7 twice a week and it's not as bad, but also play at 9 one night and it's 3am before I ever get to nod off.
Doesn't work the same after 'the bould thing' though, so either I'm not putting the same effort in or a pathetic bout of blubbering gratitude is the real key to making you sleepy.

Whoever said above about dealing with niggling issues was on to something though. You don't even have to resolve them there and then, just deciding on a plan and a timeframe to deal with them is enough to make me sleep easier anyway.
Or watching 5 minutes of Sex and the City, it's on at the right time on Paramount (all night every f***ing night ) too.

Please tell me you're not on about killing kittens while looking at Sarah Jessica Parker

I figured out the root cause to my lack of sleep is in fact my ex girlfriend, since we broke up, and indeed the previous time we broke up, I havent been able to sleep soundly.

Suffice to say we're getting back together
    j'accuse!

Ah hold on, masochism is one thing. Full on self-loathing self-abuse in the dankest cesspits of the soul is another thing entirely.

What has Sarah Jessica Parker got to do with the soul?

Anyone else who's ever been in a long term relationship find it harder to sleep when your significant other isn't there? I'm far more restless when I have to sleep in the double on my own. Probably because you don't have two of the things we've said you need to sleep soundly, sex and someone to talk to about the little things in your day that bothered you (although if she starts talking about the little thing that is bothering her during sex you probably won't get a wink of sleep for days )

Ive had bouts of insomnia, Rovers Maniac, and ive found Melatonin a very good cure for it, you can get a big ole bottle of pills for about a tenner online.

Ive been told Melatonin is the natural sleep hormone in the body and the pills supplement that. (this could be all wrong wrong wrong), as i didnt devote too much time to research, but it does work and didnt leave me feeling groggy next day.
