Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock have made a bid for Derry City striker Conor Sammon and the clubs are reported to be in negotiations over a move.
The 21-year-old joined the Candystripes from fellow Premier Division side UCD at the start of the season and he has been in excellent form at the Brandywell.
Kilmarnock are on the look out for a new striker after Alan Russell was ruled out for the start of the season through injury, while the SPL side failed in their bid to sign Peter Thompson from Irish league side Linfield last week.
