    1st Division

Im sick of all the talk about the scum element of Rovers and Bohs' fans causing trouble and what should be done about it etc....
so here a question for anyone else who feels the same.

Who will win the 1st Division this season ?

Personally i think its between Bray, Kildare and Dublin City. With Bray just about edging it ! hopefully !

Anybody but Dublin City.... Incidently would Home Farm and Kildare get promotion? surely their grounds wouldn't meet the license... Actually how would Bray do on that?

Preferred option would be Harps for Promotion, after that I suppose South County Dublin FC would do....

Will their ground even meet the Uefa/FAI licencing rules for the 1st division?

There aren’t too many grounds in the first with 1,500 seats. From a league point of view, anyone but DC is OK with preferably one/two of Harps, Sligo, Galway or Limerick

We have about 200 seats actually. Only 1800 more to go.

If we go up it will be in place. Seeing as we are just over a year old give us some time to build please.

Wasn't having a go Countyman (well maybe at home farm)... Actually have you plans in for the extra seats? Also is there still talk of Newbridge Town selling up?

The club have planning permission and also the funding (so i'm told) in place for a 2000 seater stand running down the dugout side of the ground.

The only problem is Newbridge Town's land has been re-zoned in recent months. Therefore Town can sell up and make a fortune leaving us out in the cold and most likely ****ed.

As NTFC wont divulge details of their intentions to KCFC things are all hanging by a loose thread at the minute. Relations between both parties are very poor.

I think our only option is to strike out on our own and I know that this avenue is being explored.

Tis a pity because Station Road has the potential to be a lovely little stadium.

Like everything the people with the power are the ones with the least vision.

I reckon that Estar is right, but to be honest I've seen very little first division football this year.

Any hope that Limerick might make the playoffs?
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

If we go down, it'll have to be Harps to go up - any of the other three would end up robbing a load of our players...

Harps will definately not meet UEFA standards.....they currently have park benches for seats which holds about 300.

I reckon Bray will win 1st

I think Bray will win it and the playoffs will be won by whatever Premier team has to contest them.
The ball is round and has many surprises.
