Kilmarnock!
I hope we have a sell on clause!
Curious that the article says he's impressed in Derry where he's not getting his game now (as far as I'm aware) and Derry fans aren't overly excited by him any more.
Well, he does appear to have lost some weight...
Yes, we really sold you a lemon there. I mean, look at the dismay we feigned when we learned he was to leave. So much wailing and gnashing of teeth, you'd think we'd just lost a star player, an asset to the team.
You can't spell failure without FAI
Hamilton are now interested in signing him, but looks like they won't be getting him.
It may have worked out differently for them, however, if they had been able to field Derry City striker Connor Sammon. "We had permission from their chairman to play him but that was withdrawn after Hamilton had a bid accepted for the player," explained manager Jim Jefferies. "However, he was stripped for action on the bench today because I was hoping to get a phone call in the dug-out telling us he could go on. We've agreed terms with the boy, he wants to come here and his agent has made that clear to Hamilton. I'm just hoping the deal is tied up as soon as possible."

Signed a 3 year deal with Kilmarnock. Undisclosed fee, around £40k (€60k) apparantly.
Is it just me or do Derry City try to mess up all their cross-channel deals? They allowed Glasgow Celtic to guzump West Bromich Albion over the McCourt deal.
And Derry's eyes appeared to broaden with greed when Hamilton Academical FC (No relation) put in a late offer for Conor Sammon.
It gives clubs a bad name.
" I'll go right up to here,
it can't possibly hurt.
All they will find is my
beer and my shirt."
