I know yeah but he didn't really get stuck in enough for my liking.I suppose of we had a target man he would have gotten on the end of a few of the crosses.

Really dissapointed with that result, we could have won if Boco could hit the target, so many chances but if you dont score you wont win.

On a happier note it was great to see my favourite ever rovers player back in the Red & White!, how many times have we seen him pressure the keeper like that? 1000's of times...only once have i seen him stop the keeper from kicking it away when it hit his arse

The Shams support looked shocking too. We deserved something from it I’m gutted with the result but we have to move on. We played some brilliant football again roll on Cork

First half we looked liked the only team that was going to win it. We played some neat football and with better shooting we could have been at least 2 up. Brush wasn't troubled once. Shams were very defensive.

The game opened up a bit in the second half but I never felt rovers got a grip on the game like they did in the 1st half. Cretaro or Butler never got forward as much as they would have liked. Peers certainly deserved MOTM.

With Seamie back for the Cork game, I think we can give them a really good game.

Shamrock Rovers were hopeless, thought they have gone way back. We definitely deserved something but like against Galway we cannot score. Boco (at least 2), Cash, Peers, Conor all had good chances - we are NOT going to score many with our midfield. Gary was way off the pace & contributed nothing. That said we played great football but we should be putting these chances away

Don't kid yourself. We'll get a right spanking from Cork.

I hate losing to Pat Scully, especially when we play better than them We really are missing someone to put the chances away, hopefully McT is that person(once match fit). No reason why we can't take a point off Cork at home, tightly mark Mooney and it's sorted.

If Seamie's back for the Cork game he will surely give Mooney a tough time while marking him.

well becasue Seamies a right back, id say he'll have Liam Kearney to attend to, id expect Mauro or Peers to do a job on Mooney

Can't fault any of the players for effort last night. We just didn't have the quality to score. Shams put their chance away and fair play to them, coz they didn't play well otherwise.

Rovers really need a player who has an eye for goal ad it will be a couple of games before we see what mctiernan is capable of. I mean Chris butler and Danny Ventre got our best chances of the night, they may aswell have been up front, rarely seen curran, Boco wasted his chances (again unfortuantly) and McTiernan needs a few games with the A Team for match fitness.

    Apologies for that robbery..
    The Model Club

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

well mc T certainly isnt the answer to our promises. Its desperate times when cooky plays someone like him, because he is not in any way the mould of player cookie likes.

Well tbh who else do we have for up front ? Boco misses to many chances and Judgie looks to be out for the remainder of the season. You never know when McT could regain his form and get the goals.

Have we signed richie ryan on loan?
If we have, considering our fiancial situation at the moment,
Would it not have been wiser to try and get a striker in on loan.
I know we are stuck for cover in all areas,
but as roversman said we have no strikers.

That's handy so - he'll still be able to keep an eye on him.
