Very harsh the reasonhe got booked so often was because he was putting in tackles when our other stars were diving out of them . Gary is only 19 and he will do well at el level.

Deegan was a good player but also a liability with the amount of times he got booked. He might have been putting in tackles, but his timing was pants, and in fact I would almost suggest that he couldn't tackle.
He will be missed, but to put all his bookings down to nothing more than the fact he was putting in tackles shows a shocking ignorance of the game.

anyway i think deegan had a bit more to his game than getting booked the whole time - 100% energy, honest hardworking and up for it - i do remember him passing and all

Deegan carried Russell if you ask me.... that's why he ended up in the book all the time... Russell has only got about 60 mins in him if you ask me....

100% correct Russell and Fenn aren't tough enough.. would have liked to see Deeegan play with Robson or Foley in centre-mid...
