On the subject of the worst pitch - Silverheights all the way for me!!! Bad surface on a slope and the fact I have never won up there as a player or a manager!!!

While i agree that a pitch can't beat you , knowing how to play on a particular pitch can give a team an unfair advantage. An awful lot of draws on that pitch for me - the occasional loss but never a win!! Throw in a few broken ankles for a few players - not from tackles !! Thats why i dont like the place

I thought it was an appropriate time for BRFC to join the forum. I have read the last month or so - very good. Im not sure how active I will be, but sure we will see.

On the week we beat Premier League leaders, BRFC is Blackstone Rovers. You Yoda? I tried to remember all as I read through, but Olli sticks out because of last season, and littleman is easily recognisable too.

Good question... I'm thinking I remember Yoda and Leeds comes to mind...

it should have been obvious and kind of easy for me to work out. can't say i know much of Blackstone to be honest, have not seen ye play yet but the name certainly stands out. welcome again! as for me, i have no allegiance to any AUL club but i do watch a lot of games, mainly on d northside though as i'm now local there.

have to agree with silverheights. you just cannot play football on it. I've never seen so many German Shepards in one place either. Its like to the Olympic staium in Rome for the Rome derby. I think every supporter up there must own one.

The blackpool celtic pitch out in kilcully is fairly pathetic too.

On the transfer front, I hear Grattan have signed Keith Shaw. If true, Grattan have gotten themselves a fine player. One of the best midfielders in the league for the last few years.

    Littleman, can you confirm?

I am not sure, but I would check if its two or three allowed from Villa. Another one to check is that a player can have only 2 clubs, just check they didnt sign for anyone else at the beginning of the season
