David Ward had his chance.........
He is not of a good enough standard to play for Dundalk. When he was playing for us he really did need 3 or 4 chances to score.
Lads any news on a new striker being signed?? TV jst cant run,or last a full game, mulvenna needs a better goal scorer up front with him, martins out again for a month and farrell is lacking in confidence. Is ward on his way back after 20 odd goals for rock celtic in the meath league this year??

dundalk are supposedly looking at signing andy meyler off bray. him and tv up front, combined age of 68. you'll never get promoted.
Bray wouldn't let him go after Georgescu going to Shels would they?
Hopefully not, we dont want players who cant score...we have enough of them atm!!rumour going round we are talking to an un named newry town striker!!!
If you offer the right money you will get Myler!
Can you afford the asking price is the question ?
John Delaney!! GET OUT!!!

Say what you want but we need a proven goalscorer and Meyler is that at this level. I can't see a transfer fee being a probelm and Bray would probably be happy to get him off their wage bill. Personally Id prefer somebody else but we do need somebody.
I just hope Farrell scores on Thursday night. All he needs is one and hopefully he'll get the confidence

His name is Myler...not Meyler!!!
Not worth a new thread, but in a local Dublin newspaper Tallght Echo, covers alot of West Dublin also there's a report about the amount of Tallaght players at Oriel.

" I'll go right up to here,
it can't possibly hurt.
All they will find is my
beer and my shirt."
Thanks for that link.
"Limerick now occupy second place, but have a game left in hand and also must play Dundalk."
