    SARI match

Does anyone know what sort of team is likely to be playing tomorrow? Given that the under-21s are playing Cobh tomorrow morning I assume it's mainly the 1st team.

Kearney expects to be playing anyway, according to himself on the BRB.
Mix of under-21s, Daly, Moons and the like I'd say. Cameos by first teamers maybe?
Still, well worth supporting and may be good for some fun.

    City 4-1 SARI

    Mulconroy
    Bennett
    O' Callaghan 2pens

    Mooney
    Carey Greg Coughlan Hoggie
    Mulcs Dan Murray Softic Kearney
    George Woods

    Subs:
    Bennett for Softic (h-t)
    Casey for Hoggie
    Lordan (?) for Woods
    Nolan for George
    Colin P. for Kearney

I'm not sure on all the subs, particularly as there seemed to be a shortage of jerseys.

Kearney played ok, but u could see he is a bit rusty. Id say given a few weeks he'll do a good job.

    Crowd: about 50 or 60

It was a fairly competitive game too.
Liam Kearney is very small though.
Showed a few flashs, but needs time all right.
That guy Softic looks to be one to watch.
Nice to see John O'Flynn watching the second half from the shed !

I though there would have been a bigger turnout, especially from our "foreign" community in the city. Was there much publicity I wonder?

btw, I wonder if some of the positions occupied by some players today is a sign of things to come?
Dan at midfield, Greg back in defence ?

Bennett got forward well from midfield, even if we were dominating posession. Interesting to see him doing stepovers, and I reckon McNulty must have been teaching Georgie his tricks.
