Many of the players currently playing in the premier league would like to have won what some of the "has beens" playing with Bunratty B have in their time. Newmarket B have a good young team while Kilkishen and Corofin B would be able to hold their own with most as shown by Kilkishen recently in the cup.

Nothing wrong with players deciding that they can't commit to the degree required for Premier Soccer or equally with not having the fitness - each to their own. In my experience most teams in the top half of their division would be able to give a good account of themselves against premier opposition. The top premier teams on form could beat them well but it is the better fitness and pace the game is played at of these teams that really make the difference.

what a load of rubbish . to debate about the premier and how good the 3rd div is get a grip lads. lets talk about how we are going to put avenue out of the cup and win the 1st div and take our rightful place in the premier next season.

Ya our manager is a big loss in goals but murph had is scan today and he's been given the all clear. He'l be back for next match.League will go down to wire our chance wil depend on how we do in our home matches with newmkt and rats.Win them we should win league.Lose either one and 2nd will be the best we'l do.

Moving on can I ask if the manager is responsible for a team failing / winning or is it because of the players - looking at Bunratty it seems to be the quality of the players rather than the managment set up that has them in their current position - any taughts ?

nobody has a rightful place in the preimer you have to earn it and then work hard the next season to stay in it which in the past ye have struggled to do

you said it cous. Nothing was ever won on a forum. We will get on with our business quietly as we have done all season.

Tough draw for us, Avenue are a really strong side. Nothing to loose. We are glad to be in with a shout as massive underdogs.
you are only a loser when you stop trying. Playing sport does not build character, it reveals it.

if lower division teams put in that effort every week and improved they're fitness then they would move up the league's..
Hacker please thats just a lame excuse.Ive played on yere pitch and it isnt much better..

they were banging on about 3rd div soccer not up to scratch wit prem football when most of thrid div teams hav dressing rooms and soccer pitches unlike 2 or 3 "prem" teams. and dont try to call a cow field wit grass on it and a shed more than a 100 metres away "premier" soccer factilies

well dat must be the funniest thing ive ever read someone from rineanna having to blame the pitch why they struggled to beat a 3rd div team. esp when they play on the side of a hill.
