Game the weekend between Newmarket B and Kilkishen should tell alot...
Newmarket score goals for fun, Kilkishen have a solid defence and great keeper...

Unfortunately I can't see the top three dropping enough points to let Corofin back in the race...

Manus B are a team I wouldn't write off just yet...
They may be mid table, but with only 3 games played..
They play Rats B at the weekend..

As a corofin man i can understand what you're saying but we're hoping we're not out of it just yet!, we've finally managed to get our first 11 out in recent weeks and with new signing cathal o'sullivan banging in the goals we're hoping that we can catch up especially when we get kilkishen and newmarket back up to corofin. And would agree with you about Manus, they're a tough outfit

The Clare League must be fair stuck for cash. A Youth player has been handed a €40 fine for getting 3 yellow cards, fairly sad to be fining lads for a few measly bookings

Corofins home game against Bunratty was played in Lee's Rd. 2-2 Draw.

Could be a good thing as there will still be games to play
when the "good weather" comes back around...

I imagine there will be games again the 4th of Jan.

Good idea alright for a few reasons. Some people are away for Xmas and then theres the weather.

Hey guy just a quick question. We recently had two matches changed from the away teams venue to our home pitch because the away teams pitch was unplayable.Dose that go down as a home match for us our an away one?And lets just say it goes down at a home match, then next time we have to play that team away and the pitch is unplayable are we allowed to play at our home pitch again?

    Newmarket B 3 - 1 Kilkishen

    Good game to watch.
Kilkishen had a lot of the ball but didn't threaten too much.
Newmarket took their chances when they came.

Ya Kilkishen got off to a very bad start, keeper made a howler for the 1st goal then defence fell asleep for the 2nd.Kilkishen had a lot of the ball but created very little.Big win for newmarket.kilkishen will have to win there game in hand now to stay in touch.

Yeah would agree with that alright.Wasn't a dirty game by any means.Just a few incidents 2nd half. We're disappointed alright but we never seem to be able to beat Newmarket away.

Heard this also... Bridge Celtic B had 5 players sent off.

Also Tulla B were late back onto the field for the 2nd half so the ref booked all 11 players. I know the ref that did the game and I've seen some mad stuff in my time but this really gone beyond a joke. CL will be delighted as they will make a fortune on the fines.

Tulla B got the result so as it's down on CDSL site as a 3-1 away win.Thats the most amount of bookings in 1 match i've heard of.

This was Bridge United B V Tulla A. Good game by all accounts until ref started making up his own interpretation of the rules.
Booked all 11 Tulla players at the start of second half for arriving late on the pitch even though he did not blow warning whistle or give any notification.
Made Tulla take corners from the other side of the pitch than the ball went out because the sun was in his eyes but resulted in the sun being in the the defending teams eyes. Sent 5 players off (straight reds) in one incident as well as the managers and abandoned the game.

Not one bad tackle in the game, all bookings and sending offs due to refs interpretation.

Not his first time, apparently last weekend he sent off 3 Ennistymon players in 30 seconds.
Although we thank this guy for giving up his time to referree in our league but with all due respect I don't think he is strong enough to represent the profession.
