    Great film all the same.
Was gonna say ID, this one is a favourite mine, the guy who plays the cop undercover with the hooligans is very good in it.

I liked when saturday comes, fever pitch and remember seeing escape to victory about 16 years ago and thinking it was class, don't know would I think the same today.Heard a story that Stallone wanted to be the hero as he was the movie star but the film producers had to put him in his place and say Pele must be the hero,he is only the greatest footballer of all time ffs and its a film about football.

Football factory and to a lesser degree green street were sh!t imo.
    Chamon Mothafcuka......he heeee.

    .
ID is basic but class probably wasn't too far off reality.

Agree football factory was sh*t espically if you had read the book which I had. Didn't think Green Street was that bad. ID is class I remember about 7 or 8 years ago was suffering from a bout of insomnia and it came of BBc at about 2 in the morning it was first time I saw it and thought it was class. Have also ordered the book of Away days(about Tranmere Rovers fans) as I heard they are making a film of it

CASS, a film about the life of an apparently "famous" West Ham hoolie Cass Pennant is due out in August. Write up about it in latest issue of FourFourTwo.

One called The Firm starring a young Gary Oldman and half the cast of Eastenders isnt bad. ANother one was Arriverderci Millwall about the 82 World Cup with Sean Pertwee.

I liked the football factory but ive liked Dyer ever since Human traffic. Green street was okish ruin by americanising the end where everyone learns a lesson thats what i liked about the football factory the ending was good.

Green Street is hilariously bad lads, a yank drops out of Harvard and pitches up in the east end with the hardest firm going...Yea right. ID was good for its time but like many films of its era has aged badly.

Not very easy to document this sort of culture on screen being based as it is on bravado, drug abuse and sheer insanity. The book of Away Days was quite good, read it years ago, it's all about the casting though. You have to be able to believe that someone is that crazy/stupid. They should go with first-time actors.
And you ask me to help you??!! Man is evil!!!! Capable of nothing but destruction!

Agree with that. I always remembered ID as a good flick, but when I saw it again recently it looked crap.
I don't think these movies do football any favours. Green St seems to have spawned a generation of schoolies. Ridiculous as the plot was, impressionable young lads seem to have been taken in by Green St.

Green Street is the worst movie of all time IMO.

Football factory is the second worst.
I think I should the parachute, because I'm great.

In fact, I think I should get both parachutes, in case one doesn't work.
