    Fixtures/Results: w/e 13th July 2008

First surprise of the week - Limerick 4-3 UCD.

Yep, that's right - we scored three times.

    Drogheda 1-0 Derry per Aertel.

This was the first weekend we didnt play just under 20s and had a good mix of new signings from the junior leagues and one or two seniors comming back from injury. Went 3 0 up, took off the seniors and UCD (good side and all)came back into it. Came close but Limerick deserved the victory...but the most entertaining part of the game was the college no 8 Greg??? what a bitch! Moaning and crying everytime a tackle went in. It seemed that everytime a college player kicked a ball it was followed by a dramatic scream or dive! I thought i was listening to tennis, whilst watching some Italia 90.

MOTM Johnathen Grant for two wondergoals.

Any idea of the line-up Gael? Who were the players coming back from injury? Was Pat Purcell playing?

    Greg Bolger.

"How the **** was that out?!?!" was him screaming in the face of a linesman who said his corner went straight out. Great player technically, but needs to straighten things like that out.

Yes, he was originally to play the first half only but played another 20mins in the second as well. He said he felt he could have played the whole 90 but they didnt want to over-do it on his first game back
