    Thumbs up o flynn

was watching the match near regi was there for most of the game. I was very pleased with the 1st half, pride and passion left us with a 1 goal advantage at half time, murphs was well up for the game and it seemed to translate onto other utd players. 2nd half sligo showed they were a better team. Lester and Fitz would give you a heart attack, keanes tackle was rightly red carded he got a fair roasting all night but got little cover from o shea. Overall there is a definite improvement noticeable and a precious point , bray watchout

Do you think anyone would take Fenn?! He's useless, he's got nothing about his game, he's not quick, he's not strong, he's not a great tackler, he's poor on the ball...

To be fair he seems committed but that's it.

I really wonder how he was signed in the first place...

    John Fitzgerald.

Could be John Lester you're on about though - "big" would be a good description of him!

magilton, cousins big time friend at the tractor boys in norfolk certainly pulled the wool over his eyes with that harmless player fenn. i cant see how fitzy is any better than nigel keady and colin fortune was twice the player lester is.

we all dream of a team of nigel keadys.....

Fitzy has been brutal this season too. He played 60+ games for Bury, it really doesn't say much for the standard of lower league English football.

To be fair he's decent in the air but he's got no pace at all, playing him and Lester alongside each other and defending a high line as we did against Sligo is really asking for trouble!

My lord! Fenn got booked! first time I ever saw him fly in! Without Deegan Sligo ran through us.. straight up the middle... it wasn't until Ciaran Foley came on until midfield fought back, he's got his limits but he won't allow teams to play through us without a fight, hope he starts as soon as he's fully fit, he'll toughen up centre mid even if he doesn't have the full 90 mins in him.

Re Ciaran Foley. I have to say I am a fan of the man with the magic hat. He's got guts and determination.

Both were at the game as was Reggi very sad talking to his partner and kids last night lovely people and they are totally disillusioned with Galway and Eircom League. There was two young players from denmark there who had just arrived on trial surely it would have been btter to keep Reggi and Deego thanbringing them in.After the weekend were a point closer to safety so keep up the fight lads im in the usa for 3 weeks but my heart will be in Bray on Friday come on lads we can do it.

I see what your saying gufct but the whole reason the exodus of players is lack of funds so two new lads comin in wont be getting as much wedge as those on their way out. Respect to the lads who were up there fri night it must be a difficult enough time without having to watch the team they were playin in only a few weeks ago.

Still think keanos sending off was harsh. It was late but so was the tackle on murphs.

Yeah, same here thought it was harsh at the time and after seeing it on MNS it looked like a yellow card no more. There were a few Sligo tackles that could have warranted a red, yet Eoin Hand felt he had to single out Alan Kelly for praise

O'Grady came in late on McColloch and was not punished iirc. Never intended to play the ball twas shown in the "ugly" section at the end and Eoin brown nose Hand still had to get in his arse licking for the Kelly family.
