Contrary to some inaccurate and misleading reports in the media, the Members of Cobh Ramblers Football Club voted by a MAJORITY of 4-1 of having full confidence in their Chairman Barry Walsh and the remaining Committee.

This is a great result for Cobh Ramblers as the club can now move forward and concentrate on the matter in hand, that being “Football”. It is time to leave the negativity behind and focus on the future.

The Members have shown that they are fully behind Barry Walsh and his plans to keep Premier League Football at St. Colmans Park.

We would kindly ask all media sources to ignore any Members who are still spreading any unnecessary gossip that is harmful to the club as Cobh Ramblers are now moving forward and refuse to be held back any longer by these selected few

True- but unfortunately bad news and controversy sells papers and gets radio listeners. Minorities (sick or otherwise) have thier uses.
