How can you call Davy a bottler as a manager, to bottle something would imply he had it in his own hands and lost it, when Davy took over Park/Newtown were bottom and always depending on teams to slip up.IMO 3rd was not a bad finish given the position they were in before he joined.

well lads if liverpool or any other club have that wish, they should emulate what members of park do,,,,,,,,,, give up their free time, put the plans in place and bust their balls fundraising for the benefit of their club and local soccer,,,,

from my angle,,park have under-achieved at junior level for awhile now so im unclear as to why people so jealous of them????? what do they boast about???
well i honestly havent seen much evidence of boasting, but its undeniably a properly run club who are trying to go in the right direction at all levels,, i can easily see why people involved with the club love it so much,, the development of the park club over the years is something the whole community admire and are proud of,, the work and effort gone into it is phenomenal and eventually they will be a top junior club, i judge this from looking at the underage setup, the facilities, the training of coaches, the general desire by all involved to improve etc,,
just so ya know im a neutral admirer of any and every club that tries to improve football and its community in this country,,,,,,
1 more thing regarding the knights,,, the park crowd have poured alot more money into the knights over the years than the knights ever put into park

i just dont understand this animosity towards a very admirable progressive community club,,,,,
they will need to move up the divisions soon as how many of the good young players will stay with them. The can walk up the road to shannon town to play in a higher division (role reversal from about 10 years ago), or make the trip to town to try and win something....

apologies meant to say everybody on this thread / limerick 1b have a strong dislike for park.. at the moment things look very good at park set-up underage / coaches / pitches etc ... and hopefully it will continue to improve standard of football .. admirable progressive community club i'm not sure as the whole community of shannon would not be behind park afc and a few other clubs in shannon also trying to be very progessive
