Can someone open a Lets talk about Park thread, boring

you can take the stripes off a zebra but its still a zebra,
Change the club colours
Change the name
Change the league
But park and newtown will always be a bunch of bottlers including davy wall.

lads lets call a spade what it is. park were the best team last season and the season before but BOTTLED IT. and as for newtown how long was it since they won the clare league, give me a break. Davy did a good job last season but a good manager will do it the season after that and on and on. can he do it .......... I DONT THINK SO. unless the players step up the the plate they will be like all shannon teams...... has beens drinking whats left of there lifes in the knights........ some one want to tell me i am wrong please do

viewman... a good manager will do it season after another ..

was mr dermot ( fairview ) finnan not manager of park not so long ago and he won what !! .... and also please tell me what has he won since his past glory years of fairview ... plenty of teams in limerick have not won leagues in a long while and more has beens drinking in town and trying to throw shapes on a sunday morning .. why are u so bitter about soccer teams in shannon . i know we have not got as much success as the wonderfull fairview but who knows one day in the long future we may

spudd if not a new club ... how come newtown then has been disbanded ... should their history not carry through also ..
what i can see is park rangers 1972 -2009 ... shannon hibs 2009 - a new history starts

would agree .. why would ryan / cheeky leave after winning preimer league .. but oscar traynor squad players .. no big draw anymore don't think a lot of players to bothered about oscar traynor now ..
ryan / cheeky have a lot of mates involved with park / hibs and now that name is supposing to change you never know even though it would be a step backwards footballing wise at the moment and if park/hibs want to progress they should be out trying to talk these players into signing.

ryan / cheeky have a lot of mates involved with park / hibs and now that name is supposing to change you never know even though it would be a step backwards footballing wise at the moment and if park/hibs want to progress they should be out trying to talk these players into signing.

Spot on.

Only reason they left last year was because they didnt want to play for Park. Now the names changed,the colours are changed.. they'l be back. And the fact that some of the other Newtown Lads are gone next year (Big Daddy,Steven Carroll,Derek Byrne) might help.

dermot had players who WANTED TO WIN...........and if my last post is not an incentive enough to the park players what is. you were the only reply to it not one other player has replyed and told me shut up or anything.??? but you are right, alot of real shapers in the limerick leagues drink on sat nights and throw it around sunday morning. And they have nothing to show for it. SUCESS FOLLOWS LEADERSHIP.

Harsh...I dont drink in the knights!!!

Some of us stay in saturday nights and fridays if we feel we should..so dont tar us all with the same brush.

Sure your boys have been bottling it for years now against yer old enemies Pike. At the end of the day its a personal view but it just goes to show that your bitter against Park for some reason or another,but who cares.

Ah, it's gonna be great to see Park Rangers/Park/Newtown/Shannon Hibernian and all the big names, back where they belong next season...

You had a lot of bandwagon jumpers in those days who took off after they got their handy medals.Fairview had lots of luck in games they were struggling in many times.
They might start poaching again after the mjc win,and will draw some more unloyal lowlife up to you again.
