i might go and watch it myself! always good games when ye play each other. fairview have to win. if pike win fairview have little chance of going up, especially with caherdavin playin holycross and coonagh next 2 games, you'd expect them to get 6 points there

Boro were well in control and got the second 10 mins into the second half.Thomas McInerney collected the ball 30 yards out and held off his marker and beat the keeper at the near post, the same player could of made it 3 minutes but after again showing great strength and skill he shot straight at the keeper, like our 2 previous games we took our foot off the pedal and seemed to sit back, this invited Knockainey to push on and they played long ball after long ball into our box(play to your strengths ha)but centre backs Mike O'Donoghue and Trevor McInerney dealt with everything that came at them,we had a couple of half chances but couldn't put the game to bed and with 15 minutes left Knockainey pulled one back,a long ball into the box bounced horribly over the advancing keepers head and into the net, they threw every at us for the remainder of the game and only a fine save from Mark Purcell prevented the draw
Knockainey are a fine bunch of lads and gave us 2 hard games this season,a big physical side who like to get stuck in and give it a go,best of luck for the rest of the season lads
Best for Boro were Trevor Mc.Thomas Mc and Mike "MOD" O'Donoghue(who can head a ball futher than most fella's can kick it)

Ya i must admit we were very disappointed with the Fairview and Boro game we had a lot of the posession but could not make it pay in the final third. I thought you guys were panicing twords the end and we could have got an equiliser but it was not our day. We have Murroe and Caherdiven the next two games so it will be very important to get 6 points from them. park in the div cup sun may 3 in Knockainey should be a good one.
I agree it was a good game played with utmost respect from both sides as all games should be played. best of luck lads id say ye will win it now......

Hard earned win for caherdavin, they scored in the first half, Coonagh had a few half chances in the second half, overall a fair result

Good result this view took the lead after 5 mins Jason lipper with a great strike from edge of the box. Should of tacked on 2 more 10 mins later but missed 2 absolute sitters. Halfway through the first half Bruff levelled with a bullet free kick which went straight through the wall. Bruff had their tails up after this and had a couple of half chances. View got on the ball again soon after and created another couple of chances but failed to score and just when it seemed it was going to be level at h-t up popped lipper again to score from 5 yards after a good move 2-1 h-t.
Fairview were rampant in the second half scoring 4 without reply lipper getting his hatrick from the spot ,a great individual strike from u17 player craig Madigan, Sean fitz finishing off a super passing move for the 5th and similiar move for the 6th goal was finished off by Paudie Fitz.
Bruff were always a threat up front throughout the game ,best of luck for the rest of the season.

Hardly a fair result. It was handball and seeing as it was a mate of mine who handled it into the net and admitted it to me afterwards it shouldnt have been allowed but those are the breaks we have been getting of late.

We hit the woodwork twice while Caherdavin didnt create one chance from open play in the whole game. We definitely deserved a draw at least and as a couple of their lads said coming off the pitch if anyone had watched the second half they would have been surprised to hear who was challenging and who was near the bottom.
    18 times, and that's a fact.
