heard today from a shels player that they are definately out of the league, also said that there manager(val ward) got a lifetime ban from the game

i take it their B team are still in their league
what happens next year??when the points are awarded to the teams they have yet to play it relegates them,are they allowed into 2A

that definite? it's amazing the different rumours you hear, i thought they won the appeal. not surprised if Val Ward got a lifetime ban.

Phew.

We were just talking about it earlier tonight and planning that they were back in. We presumed if the MFA went in their favour the FAI would too. If they are out, we are safe (as long as Holycross dont go past us) as we would get the 3 points from our game against them to be played. I think I will wait until someone confirms to me directly that they are definitely gone before breathing a sigh of relief.

I wish the LDMC actually stated what the hell was going on with situations like this. I can understand them not saying anything until its finally resolved but if they went to the FAI and won their case then they should let the other clubs in the league know whats going on. Not knowing only leads to speculation and stories.

They have done a nice bit of work since the last time we were out there and the setup looks well now but the surface is still very bobbly. Prepare for a lot of dodgy bounces.
