ok here's why i don't agree with you...!!! firstly, the team that's currently top of 1B (Janesboro) got promoted from 2A last season so what does that say about this division??? if anything it means that 2A is as good as 1B? secondly, there are 5 teams who could realistically win 1B this season, that makes it more exciting than 1A but doesn't mean it's a better standard. in 1A you expect the top teams such as Geraldines and Mungret to beat all the other teams, but in 1B anybody could beat anybody, apart from holycross maybe. for example the premiership in england, it's the big 4 all the time, very boring, but in Germany this season 5 times could win it. but the english teams are far better than the german teams. in my opinion 1B is a very competitive exciting league but there is much more quality in 1A

Nobody thought liverpool could score more than 3 goals last night either cause your name sake was missing gerrard, But there is more that 1 on a team and its a team effort.

he has scored 18 out of our 34 goals, give credit to his team mates for supplying him,you have to create chances for your centre forward to score

i would agree with alot of what you said but we signed 7-8 players this year, some good players who have played in 1B and higher,i don't think 2A is as good TBH,look at Cals they came up with us and we were both miles ahead of the third place team, they are an average team in 1B,Pallas came up from 2B and are well clear in 2A,we deserve to be top because we work hard and have good players,we mightn't be the fittest but we are where we are from grit and determination,i think there is a big difference between 1A and 1B and should we go up we will have to strenghten our team again as we have this year

how about a bit of credit lankyboy

Good result for boro last nit, looking good for the league now!? Whats ye.'r remaining games?
Have to agree with you not much difference between 1a and 1b not in the last couple of seasons anyway i think it is because teams in 1b have got a lot fitter . Fitness was the only difference i could see in the seasons before that.

the standard of 2A last year was poor. yourselves and cals deseved to go up, too many poor teams like hyde, summerville, hospital, glenview etc. 2A is much better this season with a few teams fighting for promotion. i reckon pallas will be in 1A in the next 2 seasons, they've been coming up through the divisions quickly and have more points than any other team in any other division.

and don't get me wrong man i'm not saying anything bad about ye, ye are doing a great job at present to be top of 1B. 1A is a good division, mungret, star, dines and shannon are strong teams

don't know what the story is with Pike being down to play twice, its a misprint in the paper, maybe Park should be down for one of the fixtures, can anybody fill us in
    Above should read Park.
