    Team for St Pats???

With Geogie missing, do you think Pat will mess with the formation much>??? who's he gonna play up front, midfield etc...

    id go for something like..........

    ........................DEVINE.................... .....
    HOGGIE....MURRAY.....COUGHLAN.......WOODS
    COLIN T......GREG.......BENNETT............CASEY
    .................O' FLYNN........DOYLE.................

I dunno....put id like to see doyler play up front...just to see what he is capable of there......

if not that then Benno back to defense...colin in the middle...doyle back to right mid and either Colin P or Behan up front with john...

damn im glad i aint the manager!!!!!!

why mess with so many positions well ppl are playing well where they are like

colin t is doing excellently in the middle and doyler is good on the wing - leave them there
i'd bring in behan for george - straightish swap

big decision is bennett or derek ~ now thats a managers call

    I'd go for...

    Devine
    Hoggy Murray Benno Billy
    Doyler Colin T Greg Casey
    Flynny Behan/Colin P

I don't want to tamper with things too much, I'd leave the midfield as it is, I'd bring Benno back in because, although Derek has done well, I don't think Benno deserves to be left out.
I'd put either Behan or Colin P up front in a straight swap for Georgie.

    Strong looking team lads.

I'm not sure of ours with Karim out suspended and with Davy Byrne and Bird missing last week's game (despite reports saying they were OK)

    But I'd guess

    Adamson
    Prenderville Foley maguire Donnolly
    Fahey Byrne Osam Mbabazi
    Bird Freeman

I've no idea how Derek played last week but i think Dolan will stick with him now hes had an u-21 & 1st team game with City.

I think best to keep the midfield quartet togther & if had choice would go for Behan over Colin P as he offers something different to O'Flynn. Colin P too similar (if thats possible) to O'Flynn. Carey might get a few good crosses in for Behan too. Colin P to come off the bench if needed.

Problem is central midfield where City need to shackle Osam is long as hes not doubful again... Its possible Bennet could come in to do a job on Osam?

Pats have best home record but only 1 league away from home should give us hope. Can't see it being a goalfest though.

I'd be inclined to left the team as settled as possible.
I'd leave Derek in... and just replace George up front.
Maybe Colin P rather than Behan.

    Bennet for Coughlan

    Behan for George

Other than that leave it alone.

    Hoggy Murray Bennett Woods
    Doyle Colin T Greg Casey
    O'Fylnn Behan

i think Behan should start, especially with casey crossing the ball in now and doyle doing so well on the right Behan gives an alternative to flynn that Colin P doesn't. With george out, more is going to have to be created by the wingers so, Behan up front.
I think Bennett has to keep his place.

0-0 i reckon. The only creative player from either team is Georgie. I wouldnt go looking for a goalfest, but, you never know. I would settle for a hat-trick of Osam own goals.

By the way I think we'll be very boring tonight. I can't see us going all out attack despite us having scored the most goals in the league. Having said that, Lads we all know why we were boring the past few years, lets not get into it

We'll have to keep Coughlan in the team to mark them at set pieces and hope to scrape a goal from somewhere.
Apart from that, I wouldn't be surprised to see city play 4-5-1, with Bennett fitting into midfield.

Without GOC, city will be hard pushed to create goals. Don't see us getting much from crosses into the box, given the height of the St. Pat's team.

I reckon we'll manage a 1-0 though, coz JOF is on form at the moment.
