How long is it since Geraldines were in the premier? It seems a while now!
It would be good to see the 'Dines' go up as they have always been a good club from schoolboy up to junior level.Unfortunately over the last 15 or so years they have always lost their better players to other clubs.

one thing being over looked here is that mungret went out to play geraldines out in there place in the last few months well up for the game but the game was called off 3 times due to the pitch.I feel for shannon but these things happen. It happened us last year, going to watch dromore and teams didn't play their best teams, its a tough pill to swallow but it happens to everyone

Here here. Mungret players are entitled to pick and choose what games they play in, after all some of them have been doing it all season! When you consider yourself to be a superstar and a galactico why should you tog out for what you consider to be a meaningless game the week of 2 cup finals.
Being serious about it though I know Geraldines weren't impressed with Mungret not playing any of their starting 11 last Tuesday. Even though they were glad of it on the night i'm sure the Geraldines management will use it as a motivational factor for the cup final this evening.

think his suspension is served,he'll do well to get back in though, heard the gaffer is a ball breaker
I'm sure he'd love to play that game thogh

Geraldines seemed fitter , hungrier and more ambitious on the night. However with that i do believe that Mungret will find it easier ( not easy) than Dines next year cos they have better footballers. Mungret also lack leaders and are one of the quitest teams artound - vocally. I think both teams need to recruit during the summer but good luck ot both. Could n't be worse than granville and dromore..........seesm ot be a bit of inhouse fighting in mungret -God knows why ye have gone premier and club seems in good shape- Good luck to dines and to Mungret next year

Did someone go to town last night and have too much to drink? It's not wise to let your feelings known at 3.20 in the morning after a load of pints. I'm a Mungret man and have been for the last number of years, although after the way i've been treated this season I've learned that loyalty counts for nothing. If you want to pm me and tell me who you are we can have this out face to face. What's betting you won't though. It's easy to hide behind a computer screen.

Least you seem to have your sane head on...
    what happened ye last night??
not like ye to lose a game like that?
was the missing keeper a big factor?

Think this baffled alot of us....i dont know keith and i certainly dont know what went on inside the mugret dressing room...but i was strange that he didn't play more for ye, the bugger always manages to score against me!!!

That said ye won the league so i guess the selection or non-selection was justified.

we never gave them a walkover, played them twice already first game at the lit at the start of the season, lovely evening, game was supposed to kick off at 6.15,croom didn't arrive along until 6.30 so match didn;t go ahead till bout 6.45, mick bourke decided to play 40mins aside which i think both teams would have agreed to if he had asked both managers. He didn't obviously,at half time he was asked why he played 40,said because it would be dark if he played 45 each half.we complained to him, still played 40 in second half,we lost 2.1qobjection was lodged and upheld the next week.there was at least 20mins of light after game had finished too

doubt it and unfortunately probably can't blame them.tis a long enough season they've had already, they might want to end it on a high though not 3 losses in a row

Plus rather then doing cappamore a favour they would leave 3 clubs happy instead of 1.
