You would expect Balla to get the win they need in the Croom game and after the 2 cup finals you wouldn't expect Mungret to be at full strength for a trip out to Cappamore for what is a nothing game for Mungret so Cappamore could end up in a play off with Prospect. Dines better ensure that the ref plays the full 45mins a side tomorrow or Balla could get the game replayed and the season will never end! Some amount of politics in last few weeks. With Herbertstown taking 3 pts from Cappamore, Balla getting Croom match replayed and all the talk of Hill objecting about Prospect players.
our match was from the start of the season and we knew within a week it had to be replayed, why it took so long who knows,we've had a lot of free weekends before now and i'm sure croom have too.No politics involved, ref was in the wrong and i assume he admitted it as we got the objection and we were well within our rights to do so,had croom lost i'd be sure they'd have done the same
Geraldines (2) v Ballynanty Rvs B (0)
I would have to say that balla played the better football and were unlucky.. The dines will need to sign 5 or 6 players if there to go up to the premier..
“Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more serious than that.” Bill Shankly
Congrats to Geraldines on promotion. Table doesn't lie. Well done.
Watched the game tonight and thought Balla were the better team. but wasn't to be. Well done also to Balla who really put it up geraldines, but we wouldn't have expected any different![]()

to be fair to mungret they were on top for the first 65-70 mins and after conceding a penalty they seemed to lose interest. mungret should realy have been at least 2 up by that stage. congratulations to cappamore they worked very hard for the 3points
Missed the game tonight because of a new job, along with liam lenihan our top scorer. Talked to the lads afterwards though and everyone admitted we didn't play well at all and were lucky to get the result. Two good goals from what i heard. For us though it was obviously all about the result. A lot of nerves involved...thanks to all the well wishers. Fantastic season from our point of view. We're under no illusions of how big a step up it's going to be next season. To everyone involved this season i would like to say it was a pleasure to play with a great bunch of lads and to the management team and a lot of people behind the scenes, ye put in years of hard work to get the club back to where we all believe it belongs. Ye deserve it and should be very proud.
Hill & Balla are relegated, am I correct?

Fixture
Balla v Croom (tbc)
Congrats to The Dines and Mungret on promotion.
Hill Celtic are relegated.
Balla must beat Croom to stay up, if they lose or draw then they too are relegated, if Balla win then Cappamore and Prospect must play in a relegation play off.
