Referee told keeper to put it out and take his time...if you were at the game you would have noticed that after it went 1-1 there no time wasting at all we wanted to win and believed we could.

From what I have seen so far Mungret look that bit better than everyone else in the division. I would fancy Geraldines for second with Shannon & Summerville to give them a good run. To stay up I think any of the sides that do go up will need to strengthen considerably when they go up. Kilmallock walked this division last year and look how they have struggled. I think Mungret & Geraldines have the same problems as Kilmallock, loads of talented young players able to play football but lack that bit of strength and physicallity needed to match the really top teams in Limerick.

kicking the ball out in football has become a joke. Unless the ref stops play for an injury (deems it dangerous/too sore) then the ball should stay in play and the match proceed. If you kick it out then tough. how many times has the magic sponge been used....to waste time only for the fella to get up and run away..

A ball from four yards away smashed into your nuts!!! think that would qualify as too sore??

i still think the ref should have the call. Stop play if needed and drop the ball (in this case just for the keeper to pick it up and continue play).

Mungret only have 3 starting players aged 21 and under. The rest of the team would have an average age of about 27 so they are quite an old team. In my opinion they would be strong enough to survive in premier but would need to strenghten the squad to get into the top half of the premier.
On yesterdays game: Mungret 4-2 Cappamore
3 nil at half time and cappamore got two very dubious penalties in the 2nd half, the ref said himself that he would not have given them if the scorline was tighter!

Well they have to have a bit of belief anyway, whats the point in breaking your balls getting out of 1A if u think you will come straigh back down, any team who goes up i would imagine would belive they can survive, there is always about 4 teams around the bottom so there's always a chance.

Looks like Cappamore are going down alright but didn't hear they were pulling out. Prospect, Croom, Herbertstown & Balla all in danger of dropping down too with the recent run they have all been on. Any of those 5 teams get a couple of wins and they would be looking good.

There is a lot of 6 pointer games so to speak at the top and botton of the table, prospect lost lots of players but i hope they stay up, croom are struggling but you cant really say much till the games in hand they have are complete

Have u seen us play this season? Our two wide players harkin and dunworth are makin a real difference to the side this season, the team has many changes to the team that got relegated a few years ago. Like francesco said, its everybodys aim to get promoted and stay up and theres no point not believing you can do it.
